India's senior fast bowler Mohammed Shami is currently on rest. After pouring his heart out on the tour of England in Tests and ODIs, Shami was given a break from the entire West Indies tour which includes 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Uttar Pradesh-born speedster has added a new stylish car to his collection: Shami has bought a luxury sports automobile - the Jaguar F-Type - to brighten up his garage.
Pictures of his new car and the same red-coloured Jaguar went viral on his social media on Friday.

The remarkable automobile reportedly costs the Shami Rs 98.13 lakh! It has a powerful V8 331 kW engine that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an 8-speed automated gearbox, which provides a smooth off road driving experience. Shami reportedly paid himself extra for choosing "0011" as the registration number of his vehicle as his Indian team jersey has the number '11' on it.
Amit Garg, director, Shiva Motors, on his LinkedIn account on Friday shared a few pictures of Mohammed Shami taking the car to the showroom. The Bengal pacer can be seen posing in front of his brand new red colored Jaguar F-Type; In the second image, Shami is seen gifting a signed cricket ball to Garg.

Shami's Need for Speed is famous as he often uploads pictures and reels of himself along with his lavish collection of cars and bikes.
Just last month, he shared a picture of his all-new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 last month. On his official Instagram handle, he wrote a caption, "Say hello to my new cruising partner #royalenfield #mshami11 #aavade."
Shami, who won the IPL 2022 title with Gujarat Titans, also owns luxurious cars like BMW 5 Series, Audi and Toyota Fortuner.
Talking about his recent tour of England, it was a bitter experience for Shami and the Indian team as they lost the Edgbaston Test, but the latter won the T20I and ODI series playing a vital role of Shami.
In the Edgbaston Test, Shami was not at his best with figures of 2/78 and 0/64 as India failed to defend 378. He made a comeback in the first ODI, claiming 3/31 but remained in the shadow of Jasprit Bumrah.
What next for Shami?
Well, it remains to be seen whether the senior pacer is in India's plans for the T20 World Cup, and it will be clear if he is picked for next month's Asia Cup which is in the T20 format. Shami had an excellent IPL 2022 with the Titans - taking 20 wickets in good economy of 8 in the season, and was unstoppable with the new ball at times.
