What Punishment Was Given?
After this incident, which is now listed among the IPL worst moments, Match Referee Andy Pycroft fined Pollard 75% of his match fee and Starc 50%.

Ravi Shastri, a member of the IPL’s technical committee, warned that if such behavior was repeated, stricter punishment would follow. He also mentioned that a fine was not sufficient for such a serious incident.
