Shivalik Sharma Booked for Rape
Former Mumbai Indians player Shivalik Sharma has been booked under rape charges in Jodhpur. The woman alleged that he exploited her under the pretext of marriage. Police have registered the FIR and may arrest him soon.

1. Shoaib Akhtar:
In 2005, Pakistani speedster and KKR’s former player was accused of rape during a tour in Australia. He was sent back home immediately, though he later denied involvement.
2. Makhaya Ntini:
South African pacer and former CSK player was sentenced to six years in 1999 for rape, though he was later acquitted after appealing in court.
3. Luke Pomersbach:
The former RCB player from Australia was arrested in Delhi in 2012 for allegedly molesting a woman and assaulting her fiancé. Charges were dropped after a mutual settlement.
4. Sandeep Lamichhane:
Nepal’s spinner and Delhi Capitals player was sentenced to 8 years in 2024 for raping an 18-year-old girl. However, he was later declared not guilty by a higher court.
